The Royal Oak is situated in the quiet village of Hill Ridware, near Rugely. The Oak provides comfortable surroundings in which to eat, drink and socialise.  It is a traditional village pub with a log fire in winter and attractive decoration.  A range of real ales is available with a good wine list and excellant freshly cooked food. Darts, crib and dominoes are played. A 'Push Penny' board is also available. We believe this is the only pub outside of Stamford and Hastings that offers this ancient and traditional game. Outside there is a pleasant beer garden and plenty of car parking space. 

Our food is locally sourced and a fresh as we can get it. Our meat is grown and matured on our own farm (Five miles away) and butchered locally to our very demanding standards. We are committed to providing the very best quality we can at affordable prices.
